There are various species of molds and bacterias that can grow within a ductless, mini-split type heating and cooling unit due to a combination of created moistures and organic materials. Some, because of their proximity within the living environment, can have adverse effects on our health and can contribute to uncomfortable respiratory and sinus issues, brain fog, and chronic fatigue. Ductless systems should be cleaned every
6 months to a year in order to avoid mold build up and a compromised interior living space.

Indoor air quality and an individuals overall health and wellness can be adversely effected by the equipment used to heat and cool our homes. Furnaces, air conditioning units, and ductless (mini-split) systems become contaminated over time and if not properly and regularly maintained, can introduce mold and bacterial contaminates into our living environment. Because these units create moisture while in airconditioning mode, this moisture interacts with the organic debris that gets beyond the units filters and into the evaporator. Organic material, moisture and warm air in these units can and will allow mold to grow. Because of the known health effects mold has upon our bodies it is very important to properly maintain these systems on a reglar basis.

MiniCleanse uses environmentally friendly products to ensure a safe and
effective process. Cleaning products are introduced into all effected
components with low pressure equipment designed for mini split evaporators.
Most external components are easily removed and cleaned separately.
All debris is flushed out and drained into a catch system during the cleaning process
for safe disposal. Keep your home and your interior air quality safe and
comfortable!
